It all began with a seed…
I’ve been growing plants for as long as I can remember, but when I was introduced to Cannabis in 2010, I knew this plant was different. Its feminine energy was alluring and I was instantly magnetized. As a farmer, I have grown each year alongside all of my crops. Being a female grower in the industry has always had its idiosyncrasies and when I attained MOFGA’s Clean Cannabis Certification, I wasn’t surprised that I was the first female owned farm to do so.
Mantis Medicine is a vibe — dedicated not only to clean growing practices, but also clean packaging; we’re committed to not using plastic. We want to provide people with a product that they can enjoy and not question its footprint on the Earth. Beyond growing methods and packaging, Mantis Medicine is also a lifestyle. As a female owned and operated business, we encompass representing the feminine cannabis lifestyle. Cannabis culture has been dominated by men and our mission is to make this industry more inclusive and normalize cannabis use in female lives.

What makes our CBD different? I personally grow all of it and hand make most of our products to ensure the highest quality. All of our products are full spectrum, meaning all parts of the plants are used to utilize all of the healing properties of the plant, not just an isolate or extract which is minimally beneficial. All other ingredients used are organic and/or local. Dedicated not only to clean growing practices and ingredients, we are also committed to plastic free packaging.
CBD has has been scientifically proven to help with stress, anxiety, addiction, pain, inflammation and insomnia. For anxiety, stress and sleep its best to take orally in the form of our Herbal CBD Tea, or one of our 5 tinctures.
Our #1 tincture Sleep Oil is combination of CBD and CBN (another canabinoid used specifically for sleep). We have two tinctures that are formulated 10 parts CBD : 1 part THC. They are still under the .3% limit of THC, however a micro amount of THC enhances the effects of CBD- referred to as the Entourage Effect, where the medicinal parts of THC and CBD multiply when combined. We also have a tincture that is specifically formulated for pets in Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil
Topicals are best used for physical pain- however if you are dealing with full body pain/inflammation a tincture can really help address this. Our Herbal Bath Soak is also great for full body discomfort and can be used specific general aches and pains. Applying our salve or body oil to an injury or sore muscle is the best way to direct the healing to where its needed most.
